Almost every visitor who arrives in the Arava Desert asks himself: who are these crazy people that have built their homes in the middle of the desert? What is growing in the hundreds of greenhouses? How could there be so much water? at the Vidor Center, visitors learn and experience in a unique interactive way what the Arava is all about!
I was hired by Studio Amir Zehavi to produce & direct 4 short documentaries for the Vidor Center.  In this interactive center, the visitors get a peek into the lives of families living in the Arava, by opening doors of “houses”. Behind each door there’s a large screen that tells the story of one family: A bird researcher, an artist, yoga teacher and a farmer. I had a blast working with the talented nature photographer Yuval Dax  – our  production was unique, as we were shooting vertical video – a whole new world of compositions!

בדרך לאילת עוצרים בחצבה ולומדים להכיר את הערבה התיכונה במרכז ויידור – חלון לחקלאות בערבה. מרכז המבקרים החדשני מציע חוויה אינטראקטיבית משפחתית להיכרות עם פלאי הטכנולוגיה של החקלאות במדבר, עם החי והצומח ועם תושבי האזור. היה לי העונג להפיק ולביים ארבעה סרטים דוקומנטריים קצרים, שהוצגו באופן ייחודי במרכז. תוכלו לפתוח ארבע “דלתות” ו״להיכנס״ לבתיהם של ארבעה בתים בערבה, שם תפגשו את יושביהם – איש תיירות שפיתח ענף של תיירות מדברית, אמנית שהתאהבה במדבר, חוקר טבע העוקב אחר הזנבנים וכמובן – חקלאי. הם יספרו לכם את סיפוריהם האישיים. כולם ידביקו אתכם באהבה שלהם לערבה התיכונה.
