SKY RAIDERS is an uplifting adventure feature film for the entire family, which was written and directed by Lior Chefetz. The film was released in wide theatrical release in Israel starting Summer 2019. The film is produced and and funded by UCM – United Channels Movies, United King Films and the Israeli Film Fund.

Before being produced, the script attracted great deal of attention and was among the top-10 in the PAGE International Screenwriting Awards competition, finalist in the Tel Aviv Children Film Festival screenplay competition, presented at Cinekid Amsterdam, Schlingel International film festival Chemnitz, and was awarded the maximum production grant of the Israeli Film Fund.

SYNOPSIS:
13-year-old Yotam is obsessed with flying, but his overprotective mother won’t let him anywhere near planes, especially after he lost his father in a crash a few years ago. When Yotam and his classmate Noa find a rare antique plane in the local junkyard, they team up with Morris, an 80-year-old grumpy loner who used to be a pilot. Together they try to bring the plane back to life, just in time for the annual air show.
